Location: Kurigram, Shahajadpur and Kazipur Upazila of Sirajganj District, Bangladesh
Description: UNICEF adopted disability friendly health care (DFHC) pilot project in 03 facilities (Kurigram, Shajatpur & Kazipur upzilla of Sirajganj district) in collaboration with NCDC. Existing 3 facilities were renovated for disable friendly purpose.

Modular solutions to house oxygen plants

Description: UNICEF Supply Division procures different types of oxygen plant equipment on behalf of UNICEF Country Offices worldwide to ensure adequate quality and price. Some of the equipment requires suitable housing structures that need to be built before the installation of the equipment. The construction of such housing structures is done through local construction companies based on specific construction documents that shall comply with WHO requirements. UNICEF Supply Division wants to develop the construction documents for each type of oxygen plant, including two alternatives of constructive methods: (a) on-site constructive methods, and (b) off-site constructive methods. These construction documents will allow to speed up and streamline the procurement process of the construction companies that will build the structure to house the oxygen equipment, while ensuring compliance with WHO requirements. These structures will be built in different contexts, including various types of weather conditions and terrains. Each set of construction documents will be developed for a temperate climate and include add-ons for different climates and terrains.

Location: Dhaka, Bangladesh
Description: The new building for vaccine store under “Expanded Programme on Immunization (EPI)” of Government of Bangladesh is a six- storied building with provisions for the vertical extension of two additional floors in the future. The ground floor accommodates car parking, reception, storage, substation, generator room and other ancillary facilities. First floor to fourth floor is used for storage of vaccines in particular vaccines for COVID-19, dry store etc. There is an office space at the fifth floor. The total build up area of the facility is about 4000 sqm.
ADC Scope: ADC provided Comprehensive design services to include Structural and Building Services design and drawings. ADC also provided BOQ and monitoring and supervision services for the assignment. -

and Agricultural LaboratoryLocation: West Trenton, NJ , USA.
Description: The laboratory is located on a 16-acre parcel at the New Jersey State Police Headquarters Campus and has a gross floor area of approximately 250,000 square feet. The facility will serve as the primary research and analysis operation for the State’s Health Department. As such, the facility will be used to analyze suspicious substances for all types of events, including those thought to be used as terrorist weapons.

HospitalLocation: Kalyanpur, Dhaka, Bangladesh
Description: A new Hospital Building is planned in a site at Kalyanpur, Dhaka, Bangladesh. The project comprises of a fourteen storied building with three basements. It is a combination of Structural Steel and Reinforced Cement Concrete (RCC) structure. 3 basements are planned to be in RCC while Structural Steel would be used from ground floor to 13th floor plus bulkheads. RCC walls at lift and stair cores have been used as shear walls to take lateral loads. Gravity load resisting system is structural steel framings. This results in safe, economy and efficient structure. It also facilitates better and effective coordination. Gross build up area of the building is approximately 15,900 sqm out of which structural steel portion is about 12,900 sqm. Structural steel tonnage is approximately 650 ton
