Description: World Health Organization Country Office for Bangladesh entrusted ADC for design, build and remodeling/renovation of WHO new office premises located at SW(I) 1/A, Road 8, Gulshan-1, Dhaka.
ADC Scope: ADC provided comprehensive design services to include Architectural, Structural and Building Services design drawings, Preparation of BOQ and Supervision, Monitoring and Quality assurance of the assignment -

Renovation work of Hill
Town Community CenterLocation: Shamoli, Dhaka, Bangladesh
Description: Hill Town Community centre is a two storied building constructed in sixties. It is a load bearing brick structure. About 400 persons capacity community centre is located at 1st floor while ground floor was used for residency. Ground floor of this building was renovated with wide open spaces to be used by a local commercial bank.
Renovation work was successfully completed without interrupting the functions of the community centre located at 1st floor of the building. -

Remodelling of the National Polio, Rubella Laboratory
in Institute of Public HealthLocation: Mohakhali, Dhaka, Bangladesh
Description:The laboratory facilities was functional and so remodelling works needed to be done in a manner that did not disturb day to day work. The design for remodelling the facility was innovative by considering practical, fit for purpose and cost effective sustainable elements. The remodeling work included design of architectural, structural and electro-mechanical services necessary for the effective functioning of a modernized laboratory complex. layout change, design of partitions, design of BSL 2& BSL3 laboratories with necessary facilities, detailed structural design for the remodeling, investigation and rectification of new electrical wiring system and sewerage system , investigation and rectification of plumbing system, internal lighting /power supply system, Signage, fire detection/protection systems, design of intercom system & CCTV security system, design of access control system were some of the main areas considered in the design.
ADC Scope:UNOPS was the implementation partner, WHO was the funding partner while Axis Design Consultants Ltd. of Bangladesh was the design partner for the assignment
